Weather extremes: Climate attribution since the Paris summit
Increasingly, scientists are detecting the fingerprints of climate change on extreme weather events, including heatwaves, floods, droughts and storms. Understanding the real-world picture is of vital importance for policymakers, including those working on issues such as loss and damage within the UNFCCC, and for businesses and insurers.
ECIU will present a new analysis of climate event attribution since the Paris summit, updating a report presented last year.
