Commenting on the latest price cap forecasts for April – June 2023 published by Cornwall Insight [1], Simon Cran-McGreehin, Head of Analysis at the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) said:

“The average costs of energy are still set to be at least three times higher than before the gas crisis.

“With the Chancellor planning to remove the price freeze for most households, many people struggling with the cost of living will be looking for support to help insulate their homes and shield themselves from this price hike.”
